Lenten Schedule
Follow the normal schedule for Mass and Confession with the following additions:
With individual Reconciliation
Ash Wednesday, February 13
Mass & Distribution of Ashes 6:30am, 8:30am
Parish Morning Prayer 8:20am
Distribution of Ashes Service 12:10pm, 5:00pm, 7:00pm
Fridays of Lent
Stations of the Cross 7:00pm
Confessions
Wednesday March 20
Parish Penitential Service 7:00pm to 9:00pm
With individual Reconciliation

Every Saturday
And also by appoinment


3:30pm to 4:30pm
Holy Week Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday will follow the normal weekday schedule.
The remainder of the week will be celebrated exclusively as follows:
Holy Thursday, March 28
Parish Morning Prayer 8:20am
Mass of the Lord's Supper 7:00pm
Good Friday, March 29
Parish Morning Prayer 8:20am
Solemnization of the Lord's Passion
Veneration of the Cross, Eucharist and Visitation
3:00pm to 6:00pm
Office of Tenebrae
followed by private prayer
7:00pm
Holy Saturday, March 30
Parish Morning Prayer 8:20am
The Easter Vigil 7:30pm
Easter Sunday, March 31
Easter Masses 8:00am
10:30am (children's Mass)
12:00 noon


Church Rules for Lenten Fasting
and Abstinence are contained in
Canon Law.


Ash Wednesday and Good Friday
are days of fast and abstinence.

All Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence.

Abstinence means that you do not eat meat
or meat products.
During days of Fast, one full meal
and two smaller meals are permitted.
The combined size of the smaller meals
must not equal the single full meal.
Also, there is no eating between meals.
